Summit Moving Pros LLC ("Summit," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at summitmovingpro.top and provides residential, commercial, long-distance and storage moving services in Denver, Colorado, and across the United States.
We're a small, family-run business. We don't sell your personal information, we don't run ads to data brokers, and we don't want more data than we need to do the job you hired us for. This policy is written plainly — if anything is unclear, call us at (303) 893-8200 and we'll explain it.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information collected automatically when you use our site, and information from third parties (primarily Google Analytics and the FCC-mandated caller ID lookup).
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address, and mailing address
- Move details: origin and destination addresses, ZIP codes, move date, home size, stairs and elevator access, and description of items to be moved
- Billing details: payment method (credit card last-4, or ACH routing information) — full card numbers are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor and never stored on our systems
- Communications: the content of any emails, phone call notes, or messages you send through our contact forms
- Employment applications: if you apply through our careers page, we collect your name, contact info, work history, and anything else you provide
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent on each page, referring website, and outbound clicks
- Location: approximate location based on IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location)
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 5 below for details
Information from third parties
- Google Analytics: aggregated, anonymized usage statistics
- Google Ads and similar platforms: campaign performance data — we do not receive your name or contact info from these platforms unless you contact us through an ad
- Business partners: if you were referred to us by a real estate agent, employer, or relocation company, we may receive your name and basic move details from them with your prior consent
How we use information
We use the information we collect for the following specific purposes:
- To prepare and send you a written estimate for your move
- To schedule, coordinate, and complete your move, including confirming details with you before and during the move
- To process payments and issue receipts and invoices
- To respond to your questions, complaints, and service requests
- To process and evaluate your application if you apply for a job with us
- To send transactional emails (move confirmations, arrival windows, receipts, and post-move follow-ups)
- To send marketing emails about seasonal promotions and new services — only if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time
- To improve our website, services, and pricing based on aggregated usage and booking data
- To comply with legal obligations, including tax records and FMCSA / CO PUC regulatory requirements
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, and illegal activity
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, we do not run behavioral retargeting campaigns based on your move data, and we do not share your phone number or email with marketing lists.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you have specific legal rights over your personal information. We honor these rights for all our customers regardless of state.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collect, use, and share
- Right to delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not use sensitive information for any purpose beyond providing services
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

Colorado residents (CPA)
If you are a Colorado resident, you have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act similar to the California rights above, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. We do not conduct targeted advertising or profiling.
All other users
Regardless of your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected]. We respond to all such requests within 30 days.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law:
- Move records and receipts: 7 years, required for federal tax and FMCSA record-keeping
- Quote requests that do not convert to bookings: 24 months, then deleted
- Marketing email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days
- Job applications: 24 months, then deleted unless you ask us to retain them longer
- Website analytics: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These include:
- Encrypted HTTPS transmission on all pages of our website
- PCI-DSS compliant payment processing — we never store full credit card numbers
- Role-based access controls on our internal customer database
- Two-factor authentication on all employee accounts
- Annual security awareness training for all staff
No system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.
Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Policy changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Send an email notification to any customer who has an active or recent move booked with us
- Post a notice on our homepage for 30 days following the change
Your continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
